In a fierce dispute to dominate the top of the Billboard Hot 100 next week, BTS’s new single “Butter,” gained widespread support from US pop radio stations, even setting a new record. According to Hits Daily Double website, “Butter” was added to all Pop radio stations in the United States, also known as Top 40 radio. A total of 180 stations added the song.
With that, BTS achieved a new record: the group is now the first international group to enter the programming of all the Top 40 radio stations in the United States in the week of the song’s release. Radio support can help BTS in the race for the Hot 100. The dispute for “Butter” is with “good 4 u“, by Olivia Rodrigo, current first place on the Billboard Hot 100.
If the overwhelming success of “Butter” is not enough, BTS announced the release of an even “hotter” version of the single, called “Butter (HOTTER Remix)“, for dawn this Friday, May 28th. The remix was revealed through a statement made by Big Hit Music via Weverse and comes as a way of thanking the support fans have given since “Butter” was released.

This week BTS also broke five Guinness Records, everyone was really impressed with this new achievement. The agency in charge of the boys made the announcement of the remix on social media: “We would like to express our gratitude to all ARMY for the incredible love and support they have shown for ‘Butter’, our new digital single.”
